Nikon Vs. Canon

The great debate. Nikon vs. Canon. I attempt to tackle this topic as clearly as possible. I even went over to Lynchburg Photoworks to see if Rob could help me answer the question.
Short answer. There is not a huge difference in image quality. It doesn’t matter, just get Nikon or Canon and that's it :)
Long answer. Nikon can recover the shadows a bit better and has better dynamic range. Canon tends to nail the white balance and skin tones more frequently. BUT your lens choice, your shooting style, lighting, and most importantly your editing has more to do with tones and colors than the sensor the image was shot on. Unless you look at thousands of images a week and you compare the shots directly, you will never be able to tell the difference in the two.
